Thank God for two very full and happy weeks with family and friends, for safe and smooth travels, including the intact arrival of all 300 pounds of *stuff* we brought back.
And thank God for our half-gas, half-electricity stove that enabled us to cook some kind of dinner tonight though the electricity had been out for the last 24 hours.
We'll deal with the half-melted meats in the freezer--tomorrow.
