hello arusha

After battling a night of stomach bugs and possibly the most turbulent flight of our lives (small airplanes planes = big BIG trouble), we landed in Arusha and within minutes caught our first sight of Kilimanjaro. It was pretty awesome. There's talk of our taking a trip to hike around the base of it next weekend...stay tuned.

We've arrived at the language center which will be home for the next 3 weeks. The higher elevation means cooler temperatures and less mosquitoes! Hallelujah! And best of all, there is round the clock hot water here. It's amazing what a hot shower can do for one's spirits.

Thanks everyone for continued support and prayers and encouragement.
