We celebrated D's birthday over brunch last weekend. It was a full house including a newborn and the latest addition to the Peck family
Beautiful little Evie with Mama Liz. The Pecks have been amazingly patient and good humored throughout her adoption process
Farewell dinner for friends returning to India

hi duncan and jen,
ReplyDeletei found your blog while i was doing some online research (ie, google) on life in africa, in preparation for our 1-year trip to rwanda (i am an attorney volunteering with a christian international human rights organization; my husband is a physical therapist volunteering with some christian ministries here in kigali). we arrived last week from the states. anyway, i've been anonymously reading your blog for a while now and thought it'd be appropriate to introduce myself. :) not sure how much longer your commitment is, but i hope that you are both doing well, and that God will richly bless this amazing chapter of your lives over there in tz. thanks for sharing your stories. they've helped me and encouraged me as i prepared to come to rwanda.
God bless,
-d.
Dear D, Welcome and thank you for your kind comment! We think we may be somewhat familiar with the HR organization you speak of. =) We pray for their work in East Africa constantly, and wish you and your husband much grace and wisdom and patience and peace as you begin your work in Kigali. If you think we can provide any help, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to try! Blessings to you both.
