The last few weeks have been busy as we train staff and wait for the final touches on the clinic to be made for opening day.
My colleagues and I rotated teaching the new doctors, nurses, counselors and pharmacist on issues like HIV pathophysiology, 2nd-line treatment and malnutrition. It's been exciting to see the organization grow over the past year from just a few expat pediatricians to a full staff, the majority Tanzanian. We're really looking forward to opening the doors for service to HIV-infected children. Below are a few snap shots of the final stages of finishing the clinic.

Excitement in the air!
